Hi all, I would like to hear your opinion.

I am going to rent the 3-bedroom/2 bathroom house out. Currently there are two entrances to the living room. One is on the left and one is on the right.

I am wondering whether adding two doors to make it a proper room will help to increase the rent and house value? Thanks!

Generally people want open plan without doors closing off living rooms.

A photo would help (if you have one).

    Probably not.

Unless there are other living areas?

Two doors to the hall/entry ?

Probably won't make any difference to a rental.....

I wouldn't touch it. I know others will disagree but if the living/dining is 6x6m ON TOP of the kitchen (doesn't look like it though), I might convert the living room to a bedroom and build a deck off the Family/Meals area to increase usable space.
