Adding a gate to an existing fence. Reasonable quote?

    Right, so Heffs Contracting in Brisbane messaged me they'd do it for $650 including materials. I asked them to email me the quote with details of the work.

    Let's see.

    Update: Second quote sounds like the winner.

    Second quote is $650inc gst.

    Scope of works:
    - source gate
    - gate will have a hole and latch to be locked.
    - gate will literally match the existing fence.
    - install a second post, cut the sections of fencing out, brace it and hinge it to the new post. Secured by cement.
    - All waste will also be taken off site
