About to exchange contracts, last minute offer from other buyer

    The only time I called a bluff on a claimed higher offer after a verbal acceptance of my offer I was wrong and the other offer was real and I lost the the place.

    I think false claims of offers are against RE agent rules but not sure.

    Hard to prove anyway.

    These buyers missed out after offer had been accepted and documentation was being completed.

    Is there a moral issue in the vendors accepting an offer, having the buyers filling out the paperwork and then accepting another $10k?
