    It's been the wrong time to start out on your own for at least the last 12 years or so. Market too frothy, interest rates too high, interest rates increasing, compliance increasing, the gfc, credit tightening post gfc, reducing commissions ASIC and credit licensing, market too frothy.....

    Agreed. I'm starting out in September next year and under no circumstances do I think it will be easy. I do firmly believe that irrespective of market conditions, people willing to put the sweat equity into their business will always do well. As they say, the cream will always rise to the top. ;)
