80% LVR on commercial finance

    Well... it was a saga, but ended up getting this one over the line eventually.

    At the end of the day - all it took was the 'right' valuation from a different valuer - along with a very persistent banker on the other end.

    Managed to get 90% LVR with no LMI as well :)

    Moral of the story... be very very careful when buying a site with plans and permits - even if you just want to live in the house and have no intention to build on the site.

    A lot of people are going to get caught out.
