I have done all of these in the past and it definitely worked for me.

I have also gained weight over the past year without counting calories by doing to opposite of the above. I have been:

    1. eating a grain based breakfast and feeling hungry before lunch.

    2. using a larger plate because I am hungry and want to eat more.

    3. eating more refined carbohydrates to boost energy but ending up being more hungry.

    4. eating foods with a high energy density and being hungry before my next meal.

    5. increasing refined carbs and gaining weight despite only eating until fullness.

    6. not making time for quality sleep then eating to stay awake.

    7. using olive oil for cooking

Another thing I like is to drink lots of water in particular prior to meals, makes you feel full

I dropped 10kg in a few months by doing the following:

Cut out high sugar (no soft drink, ice cream, yoghurt, no added sugar yoghurt is ok).

Ate grilled / oven baked chicken, pan fried salmon, pan fried fish instead of takeaway dinner and maccas.

Ate fruit (not blended, but in its actual form).

I found sugar to be the biggest culprit.

I have lost 10kg in the past just by substituting some part of the meal with vegetables, I.e. High fibre low calorie food. Never touched soft drink, juices, alcohol etc.

I'm a lot more loose on food nowadays:oops:

Stop eating animals and animal derivatives, 100% plant based for me and I've never been fitter, lighter or happier (and I'm pretty sure the animals are happier about it too).
