    I'll put it like this, if you can afford to spend 300k then you can afford a couple of cheap flights interstate for 2 nights to take a good look where ever you are planning to buy. If you just buy where it is easy you'll regret it.

    I see 6 x 3 bdr places in Katoomba. New highway , close to Badgery Creek and the growth in Western Sydney.

    Sash in the Brisbane North thread just found a 3 bed, brick house in Strathpine, that's a pretty good deal for $300k

    @radson Katoomba, that's sounds like Blue Mountain mate... :eek:..?
    how can it be profitable when the median price is not high enough.

    @radson : that's too far away for a young professional people to stay & renting that way when most of the high paying job will be in Parramatta and Sydney, North Sydney CBD.

    I like blue mountains especially Katoomba and Leura but you need to have a specific target in mind...seasonal rent or long term rent?
