    About time APRA got back to business and not disrupting the lives of investors.

    Nah,

    The necessary intervention has resulted in what I would call a chemical change.

    a chemical change is like burning some wood, once it's burnt and the energy expended, we have some ashes left...............

    With most physical changes which is what many investors were hoping for, is like when you freeze water it becomes a solid, add some heat and it goes back to being a liquid, add more heat and you will even get vapour.


    The reality is is that APG 223, isn't specifically related to investor activity, has burnt the previous wood.

    All the fluff and noise around interest only and investment lending generally was in addition to APG 223, but supposedly a temporary measure.

    @Rolf Latham - agreed. Getting wood was a major part of the problem.
