17 % of borrowers prefer convenience over rate

    Im sure this doesnt apply to anyone here :)

    Why almost a fifth of mortgage holders would not switch lenders for a better deal

    but we have a few "almost clients" where moving direct debits and collecting and providing the paperwork, and the hassle etc is just too much, even where the post tax savings are like 200 a week, and the NPV of that is worth 100s of thousands over time...................

    Reminds me of 2 things

    Only 4.3% of participants who had a cardiac event made changes in all three areas (smoking, diet, and exercise), over 30% changed their behaviors in two areas, and approximately 47% improved their practices in one area.


    So its no surprise to me at all that near 1 in 5 cant be stuffed to refi

    Its noteworthy that the 17 % would compose a large majority that have the capacity to do so, either income or val wise
