I had a 103 years old relative in my extended family who smoked and drank daily until the day he died. My dad once asked him what his doctor thought of drinking and smoking at his late age. He told my dad that his doctor had passed away some 30 years ago and he never bothered going to another doctor. Health is more about a healthy mindset than eating or drinking certain foods.

I used to think i wanted to live to be a centenarian, however after watching a doco on a bunch of them, they all seemed to say they wished they'd died earlier, as all their own family had passed away

Are there any centenarians on PC ?
If there are we can ask them "what properties to own " are the secret to a long life ? :p

I bet their family who were waiting to inherit would also have said the same thing :D

My grandmother lived to 103 and loved life ... no medication and active, social and engaged, with full marbles and a loving family ... right up until the last 12 months when the body simply "got tired".

Sadly, due to covid, couldn't make the funeral but was there in spirit

Guy who lived across the road from us until earlier this year is 102. He's still going strong, but his family have moved him into a nursing home. Walks a few km every day.
