I am a director and founder of an advice business in East Perth. Our business has one focus - we help businesses owned by families create a legacy for future generations. By keeping our focus targeted we are able to deliver great outcomes.
- Director - Westcourt Chartered Accountants
I help family owned businesses become great by letting you know the cost of a decision before you make it; increasing the after tax cash reserves available for your family and your business, and by letting you know exactly where you are at today so you can feel safe when planning for tomorrow.
For some families we simply treat their investment portfolio as if it were a business. The same principals apply.
And importantly we have no conflicts. We do not sell anything. We have no barrow to push. You will not find us acting as life insurance agents, a mortgage broker or a stockbroker. Our advice is independent, impartial and unbiased. Nothing we do is conflicted, prejudiced and biaised. So you know that we only give an honest answer and you can trust us.
I have worked in my parents business (side by side with mine) until our family sold that business to IAG. So I walk the talk when it comes to creating a great business that will give a family a legacy for multiple generations and to the greater community.
Property plays an integral role in creating a legacy for family businesses and their owners. You cannot talk about mid size and large family owned businesses and not talk about property.
My personal property portfolio includes commercial, residential, land banking and, more importantly, I act for some astute families that have property developments that will impact the fabric of WA for decades. I also have a good spread of equities through ETFs as well as business interests.
The presence of chat forums like this is fascinating to pick on market chatter and get an immediate feel of the market and how people are thinking. It is also a nice way to give back to the community.
