    I'd be taking the option of buying her out. If shes on DSP maybe they can vouch for her with a good 75% deposit of a unit for example?

    I'd possibly overpay by 20-30k if I was fed up missing out on places and it was a PPOR. As an investor though, perhaps just keep looking

    The alternative is to try and 'repair' but that would still cost a good chunk. Which company quoted 45k? was that for colorbond or tiles?
