We built 3x2 bedroom SDA villas 4 years ago. They ended up getting a building classification of 1b. I notice that the pricing guidelines now have a table that advises what building classification villas need to be and prescribe that to be 1a.
Is anyone aware of this and can see if this is an issue that requires a reclassification?
The other issue is that the insurers don’t want to know about disability participants renting rooms in a villa. They deem it a boarding house and won’t offer traditional building insurance. Again anyone have experience in this area?

Yeas have tried a few brokers but all so different. Seems to be overly complicated for what it is.

NDIS is not straight forward . The government are tweaking things and providers need to be watching what’s going on .

    cheers
