    Hi JCD
Thanks for your input. Really appreciate it.
Just wondering who the forum members are in on here that are worthwhile speaking to about our situation? I would love to know.
I feel this thread was created for this reason but 80% of responses above seem to think that selling an unleveraged asset and reinvest the funds is not a bad idea.

My thoughts were that you could potentially use equity to invest and not necessarily need to sell down to access capital for investing in shares?
There are lots of threads on debt recycling on here, see Terrys tips also.

several reasons. It’s undervalued quite badly. Comoare to Sydney. Most migrants will go to Melbourne. Research on this site and see the many many reasons Melbourne rents and home prices are so so much lower than Sydney.

Melbourne will be the biggest city in Australia even earlier than predicted (2033)

I’m in Sydney and watch properties double in 3 years but that’s not normal in Melbourne. It soon will be.

Yeah there’s more greenfield and infrastructure but the population crush will cause desperate measures. And massive price increases.

aso Sydney had TWO periods of price doubling in recent times and Melbourne had only one

then of course the pple priced out of Melbourne will go to Brisbane Albury Adelaide Hobart…and so it goes….

Thanks for responding. That's really interesting. Will definitely look into this more before deciding what to do
