I was watching some Formula 1 highlights recently and thought the blowers being used to cool the cars looked suspicisoulsy like...my ozito blower (albeit a 36V version of it).....

Well blow me away (pun intended) Einhell is the company that owns Ozito now, and the PXC battery system is their product. The 36V model that @spludgey has is the one used by the AMG Mercedes F1 team o_O

I've yet to find a decent blower which will take out a gum tree though the Mother Nature brand is more than capable, it's not too reliable. 3/10

I just had a massive gum tree cut out and stump grinded. $4K. Way too much branch and leaf litter on the roof of the house, balcony and carport before having it cut out, plus it was shading the solar panels. Also borrowed a neighbour's very powerful leaf blower/sucker (battery powered) and that was great, though we couldnt blow all the leaves and branches off the carport. Borrowed another neighbour's rotary belt sander, and the batteries on that hardly lasted more than a few minutes, even after full charge.

I had to tidy up an IP once that was very overgrown (5 box high side trailer loads to green waste)

For $99 at the time, this was a lifesaver from Bunnings and made the job easy

I have the ozito corded chainsaw from back when they came with Oregon bars under $100 - still going great many trees later! (I do sharpen it reguarly)

Felt like ozito used to be a hit and miss but with Bunnings no questions asked warranty it was ok
The 18v cordless stuff now days is definitely a massive improvement and most of my stuff has done the job as expected.
Drill, Impact, Angle Grinder, Grass trimer (amazing for small jobs) and lawn mover (average but tbh didn't have much expectations from it).
Corded table saws have been great too.

For household stuff its pretty much upto scratch and quiet lightweight and easy to handle. For working on cars though quiet hopeless. Always managed to find old snap on gear cheap on fb marketplace but main issue is that the gear is so much heavier. After the batteries giving up which im pretty sure are >10 years old moved onto Milwaukee now. Feels a lot lighter but still haven't really given it a go so hopefully an upgrade
