I am looking for information in regards to the rules for a small number of farm animals for different councils. Thanks

Have you tried looking up the rules with each council?

Yes , to keep a small number of animals. Finding the relevant info is not always easy to find.

Maybe joining hobby farm, sustainability or home steading FB groups for WA might help to narrow it down. I found ‘Small farm land holders and hobby farmers…Western Australia’ through a search.

I know of people keeping Livestock in Gidgegannup (Swan shire) and wanneroo and there’s a lot near me, the various rural type zones in City of Armadale I mentioned, I’ve seen alpacas or lamas, sheep, goats, and chickens (I have the council allowed 20 at my place), I’ve even seen camels in Karragullen nearby. Whether they’re approved or not I don’t know but they’re visible from roads.
