No association! I’m guessing he’s from Kwinana mate! I was reading in another article he had discussed belly button fluff collection with navy friends but they didn’t have much interest

I'm a recovering data hoarder who used to collect 1080p movies before 4K became popular. I just checked my spreadsheet and I have over 6,000 movies, each movie is about 2-3 GB so also have lots of storage, like yourself. I've stopped now, it's hard to keep up with so many new movies constantly being released. I also collect coins and banknotes but now I prefer less clutter and prefer to collect experiences and memories

I had a period where I collected "backed up" DVDs. I would buy the case, colour copy the sleeve, print the DVD to make it look original.
    I had almost 1000

Ended up inviting friends over and said take whatever you want
, I threw the rest out

    The things we do!

And there are other things I've collected that now I'm considering getting rid of because I've lost interest or I'm worried about the hassle of selling them, or it was just dumb

Eg a nice wine collection, (I don't even drink wine)

I had someone steal my pic of my seedling a year ago and claim it was their friends. I need to watermark.

Last count I did, there were around 20 of them here. But, there's a few that are mine now as well, and some older ones that will be sold.

Kind of off topic but about 15 years ago when I was playing social badminton, knew a bloke who was into the whole movie collecting thing - DVDs in this case. His folks were clearly minted where they had this 9 seat movie theatre built in in the basement with a small sliding window to give it air/light.

Made a bit of coin apparently back in the day running a errr "home theatre". He somehow managed to get a lot of movies back then before cinema releases most in good quality. Charged about $10 a head plus food if you wanted some - his folks ran a take away in a remote town back in the day so they had heaps of food.

Yes - but I sold them and now want them back but they are more expensive to buy. Mainly Z’s.

I started collecting coins last year while I had some arm mobility issues and got very bored. Some $1 coins are now worth $2. My best coins are $2 coins worth around $5. So bored with this hobby already.
