Vanguard: we have to report that our ethical fund is not as ethical as previously advised.
    Media: how so?
    Vanguard: it is unethical.
    Media: any further comment?
Vanguard: our company is entirely ethical, which is why we are not for profit in the USA.
Media: what about Australia? Why are your fees higher than other similar fund managers?
    Vanguard: what is ethics anyway?

......and we failed to ensure it was ethical before we offered it to the (gullible) public.

The financial pundits seem to be in a tizzy over the S&P500 gains of 2024..."buy n hold"..."stay the course"..."pay our comissions"
And yet only buying the dips would achieve that result.
The "buy an holders" are just made up the losses from the previous year.

As for Vanguards, it's kinda like selling devon and calling it double smoked leg ham.

Though most of that ESG stuff is garbage, NVDIA in particular which is responsible for endless gigawatts of power used by gfx cards trying to mine bitcoin over the last few yrs.
And yet it's first on the list of "esg" funds.

NVIDIA gpus is a poor choice to mine Bitcoin, most used antminer. GPUs were used for alts like ether but that stopped when it switched to POS.

    Yes, these days.
They stopped for a bit when it dropped, it's back in now.
And there's all the cards that ended as toxic landfill.

@Redwing @Waterboy i am by NO MEANS an expert on tech analysis, but is the double top and fibo on the nasdaq of any concern? previous retraction was spot on the 38 and the support from the secondary was also at the ~ 61.... what do you think?
