They obviously are selling privately, and haven't a clue about how powerful photos can be.

I'm guessing they will be thinking about how much they've saved in commission without giving any thought to how much they are losing due to the poor photos.

I've seen worse with actual agencies.

Like the ones where they dont proof the pics and you have to tilt your head 90 degrees to see the house. Either that or it needs underpinning

Love the close ups of the fly screen, fridge and floor. Really tells me a lot about the property :D

It's important to highlight the features of the property!

Personally, I like the yellow interior.. it feels very sunny :p

BC fees of $1,160/qtr are very attractive too!

LOL some vendors really have no idea do they? Mind you, it's poor marketing like this that makes us salivate as BAs due to obvious opportunity... :)

Tamagotchis can take pictures ? What did they use ? A 1978 Kodak brownie ?
I particularly was impressed in knowing there is a cheap white plastic sink plug and a fancy metal one and what appears the skinniest shower ever built that sits beside half a dryer. I wonder if the old white fridge pictured comes with the unit ? Why ?

OMG - There is an agent involved. I thought it was a tight arrsed DIY sale. I stand corrected its a tight arrse owner who paid for the worlds cheapest agent. $299 !!! Must laminate this and file under "reasons why paying an agent works"

I asked my son about this....(a real estate agent) says he was recently asked by a owner if he would drop fees closer to that of the same website. He just got up and told the guy he obviously had no interest in paying someone to sell it professionally and was wasting his time and walked out. The seller rang him a month later and wanted to negotiate fee yet again - says he respected his honesty. He says he didnt even get into a discussion and said no. Told the guy no negotiation on price as thats the same approach he would take when someone wanted to put a low ball offer to the seller. Guy didnt get that. Says he cant help stupid people.

Apparently in these cases houses are generally not up to inspection and often riddled with defects unfixed. Ever seen the movie Shallow Hal. He reckons that what they are all like..Its not worth a listing knowing you will get hammered on opens.

Just saw a new listing in my sydney ex ppor suburb by a for sale by owner mob, where the owner has led with a street view pic of the outside, taken as a screen shot on their phone. All to save $180 on professional photos.
