Working on the garden the last few weeks. Had 12 tonnes of sandstone rocks and 40 cubes of mulch delivered a few weeks ago and have spent most weekends and nights after work outside with the head torch shovel and wheelbarrow! Finally finished today, Plants are small at the moment but should look good in a few years! IMG_20170506_105330.jpg IMG_20170506_105121.jpg

IMG_3826.JPG IMG_3827.JPG IMG_3836.JPG First project in the new house - it was a great feeling to be back in Bunnings buying paint.

Our new house is all white and I missed my blackboard - in our previous Reno we painted the pantry door in blackboard paint and really loved the personality it gave. So after living in the house 6 months I decided it was time to put one in this house - much bigger this time!

Still one coat to go but I like to jump the gun. The first coat is always a bit of a 'what the heck have I just done?' moment :D

I like the "punch" of black.

I do too - we had a big feature wall in our previous Reno in Dulux domino - loved it. This house doesn't lend itself to a huge black wall but we are using black in the kitchen cabinetry also. That's the next project, certainly not a weekend one though!
