I bought a second hand Cartier Tank Francaise last year in New York. Love it - and haven't taken it off - pretty but functional which is suits my requirements. I need/want a watch that I can wear 24 x 7 (inc swimming, washing) otherwise I'd lose it.

A mobile phone. With 5 kids I don't get sufficient pocket money and if I did it would only get broken or lost.

But for those visiting Brisbane or resident nearby, there is a vintage watch shop on Edward street, in the basement underneath Gucci, east of the Queen street mall heading towards the botanic gardens on the right hand side. The building that Gucci is in is owned by a prominent Brisbane fashion designer and retailer and he leased to the watch boys at a token rent because of how cool the shop is and they apparently don't really make much money just love watches.

I like vintage watches, mainly 70's. Have got a mini collection going now.

    Tudor Prince Oysterdate
    3 x Omega Seamasters - from 1970's to 1980's.
    Tissot Seastar ~ NOS 1970's
    Seiko Diver 1970's

My latest daily wear watch is a Garmin 920XT - just too handy to NOT wear it.

I have a soft spot for collecting watches. Missus likes diamonds... So she said I can collect watches :)
    Pieces so far:
    Brietling
    Panerai
    IWC
    Audemars Piquet

Had to get an automatic watch winder to wind the watches when they're not being worn.

I have this little thing with "Tempus Fugit" - a grandfather clock about 40-50 yrs old. I strap it to my wrist, not.

I got it in New York from Chronostore. They ship all over the world though but I thought as I was going there I would look at their range as they have a really good range of preloved timepieces.

Tag Link Classic personally, I still haven't been able to scratch the face no matter how careless I get sometimes.

Never wear watches, don't own a single watch, but I do like Rolex and Cartier watches.
