We decided to give a set of young tenants a go- they were all around 20 and all working full time with good references. They were shocking- didn't pay their rent on time, always having parties, loud cars, had dogs even after we said no dogs, extra people etc.

This was our only experience with young people but has tarnished us a bit- I would have to seriously reconsider before accepting another set of young tenants!

    This is outrageous.

Imagine if you lived in Katoomba or Broken Hill, and what the fuel would have cost.

Your PM should be more organised.

Consider every tenant on their merit- I've had some terrible young people and some great young people. The PM really needs to have formed an opinion based on their experiences with these people, with some context added by the age and structure of the tenants.

Personally, I find quality young tenants are often overlooked and they're a great way to get good tenants in houses fast when other agents wont consider them. The same goes for people with animals for example.
