My hats off to him......in the biz we call it the 3 Ps....Product ...Price...Positioning

He chose his product well which quality in great lifestyle suburbs..price was good..and his positioning in the market and perception over time.

Also note how he said finance was hard but we still powered through.....

We need more people like him in Australia....good on him!

The initially is nothing...to get to hundreds of millions takes true talent...let me tell you I very much doubt I would have the skill or gumption to get to what he did...and I don't think I am slacker.....and to add to that he is only 34...he is a rare breed indeed.

I love reading these stories..it resets my benchmark higher.....

    very nice, and agree

but my question is, to get a few hundred million in value, what did he do to get the funding or the exposure???

most people struggle to get $300k in funding let alone a few million!
thats what im trying to work out

Mate if I/we knew that we would be up there with him.

This bloke obviously knows what he is doing but also very charismatic and can convince the bankers.

...what a refreshing change...from some of the namby pambies ...."no" types....

    Hats off to him....

How is your regional stuff going? What are you up to...20...30??

however with no disrespect to him, what he did involved, guts, skills, luck, timing, hard work etc
but I doubt it was genious,

that gives average people like me some hope,.....hence im being a sticky beak :)

    Most likely.
There is no doubt he would have had to be a good salesman in one way or another...probably hired some good ones as well.

I thouht for developments and finacne etc its not how good you are at selling but it all.comes down to the figures.

Unless he managed to convince a super rich guy for funding out of his personal pocket using super sales technique
