Probably some of the best feelings in the world we have experienced is from helping others. The feeling you get after knowing the impact you will have from the help you've given rivals the feelings of what any materials possessions can give you. My dad always says the more you give the more you will receive. We've always found that to be true.

Totally agree. I get these feelings when:

    1. I write my posts on PC (some are quite long) in attempt to help people in my small way with the knowledge and experience I have gained and, then they PM to say thank-you.

    2. I help my family, friends and even PC members in my small way with the purchase of their PPOR and their next IP.

    3. I do my volunteer work. For example, when I do my shift driving the bus for Leukaemia Foundation, I regularly get messages of appreciation from the patients and their carers.

    4. ....

In business and at home, I had a reputation of being very tough. Even my kids called me B&B (Blunt and Brutal) :) :).

Just goes to show, we can all change and be better people.

The cheapest, but often powerful, thing to give away is a smile.

    We give them away daily!

My wife and I go for a 7km walk daily at dawn and we often see others doing the same.

Some appear like they have the weight of the world on their shoulders. A quick smile and a "Good Morning!" often brightens their outlook.

Some of the regulars now also greet us with a hearty greeting too.
