So, I have avoided this movie for as long as possible - mainly because it is one of those things in life that it seems everyone is doing - which immediately makes me run the other way...cannot be part of the masses.

But, we recorded it on Foxtel for our 3 year old daughter about a month ago....

My initial response was : "A bloody Hollywood musical full of 'cheese' and annoying Hollywood cliches"

I think I have watched it no less than 50 times so far, and (it is on right now) and I am addicted to the songs.

Love Kristen Bell's rendition of "Let it Go!"..it is a "hair standing up on neck" experience.

It's actually a bloody good movie.

What is your favourite kids' animation?

Mine is still "The Incredibles", followed closely by "Toy Story" and :Toy Story 2", then "Shrek".

C'mon DT - there's nothing better than a 2 year old chucking a tantrum in the back seat of the car demanding dad plays "LET IT GOOOOOOO!!!!"

I've had the same Wiggles DVD playing all weekend over and over. I'm contemplating necking myself.

Lol! My daughter is 4. We been through Frozen. But 50 times would be doing my head in. Call me a grinch but the Wiggles has never been allowed in our house as a rule. I've watched many of my friends going through the same dilemma as Biz and made a decision at her birth to not let that happen to us. :p

Also I have flashbacks when we used to go on a trip down the coast(about hour and half drive)
The first hour or so would go past without that much drama and than BANG!!

The battle for back seat realestate would begin with them all fighting over their exact third of the back seat space down to the last millimetre..

The "he did","she said","he elbowed me","but mum","but dad" conversation was a war of attrition..with no clear winners only my blood pressure rising through the roof

So @D.T. i cant see why you wouldn't have kids!!!

For all of you going nuts with kids CDs in the car, I highly recommend putomayo CDs.

Horror story from the other side.... My mum and I used to drive to Dubbo and Melbourne often from the far north coast of NSW and she used to torture me with her music. She went through a savage garden phase and had the same album on repeat for about 15 hrs....

My MIL tried very hard to make us listen to a home recorded tape (yes... a tape - in 1984) of her nun friends singing church hymns - all the way from Brisbane to Cairns. It lasted til approximately Mitchelton before it got the heave-ho but we had her for the rest of the way ... humming or talking non-stop. Give me wiggles any day!

I had to live through over a dozen teenagers singing Let it Go on a public train. Ended moving to the quiet carriage.

I have a 13 month old son. Obsessed with buzz light year. Buzz light year pyjamas, toys, and dvd's. It was actually an old favourite of mine and its good to see the excitement in my sons eyes
when he sees the space ranger on the TV.

I reckon my favourite animated films are the Toy Story ones.
Re: Kids music. When my kids were little, we managed to by-pass the Wiggles and get them interested in The Beatles. A lot of their songs are pretty simple and accessible for kids. Of course, the downside is that there are some Beatles songs I heard so often I never want to hear again.
