Anyone know what could cause the water to come out yellowish when turning on the hot water from the taps? Is it possibly something wrong with the hot water system?

Most likely, the hws has rusted out if it’s the hot water.

Rust if the HWS is coming up to 10 years old...
Can also be a sign of galvanised pipes failing in the supply side
Check if any Water Authority work has been undertaken recently - sometimes you can get discolouration from that...but on both hot and cold...?
Get a clear jug and fill with the hot water - you can often see the residue...
    Good luck...:)

Sounds like the HWS is on the way out.

Although my old rusty HWS had a reddish brown coloured water.

Pipe down, it may be a pipe fluid issue.

If the water pressure is low then it may well be a combination of both the HWS is failing and the pipework is internally rusted ..

Way to take the pressure down - Sackie seemed a bit anode. It's always the way when the nobles meet the base.
