    Ah I miss my 2 dollar mojitos and 10 dollar lobsters, make sure you go to Cafe Oriental in Havana, we ran into British Home Secretary when we had dinner there. (unfortunately he refused to take a selfie with me.)

    I'll be in Indo with my sister who lives there. Should be an eye opener, that's for sure - it's not Bali, so will be the 'real' Indo.

    We'll be in Townsville at Christmas. It just worked out that way on our route from Broome to New Zealand. I reckon we'll still be able to make it a traditional Christmas one way or another.

    22 years of service so have been using up some leave, although for this trip I have had to salary sacrifice some of the leave.

    There is a former Somersoft member who spent an enforced stay of some weeks in a Cuban jail after getting mugged and having all his travel documents stolen.

    Apparently it was a very effective weight loss method.
