Renovating. I did the same thing in 2013. One of my best Christmases ever.

Most likely going local as usual - local beach, local cafe, local park :p
No forced annual leave so I didn't take any to use it outside peak season

I'm so sorry to heart that MTR. I've been there. That Christmas was the worst ever, (and our family has had some shockers).

This Christmas our oldest son is hosting Christmas with his partner in their brand new renovated house. He's told us that we (hubby and I) are providing the food but he will provide the venue :p. We will do ham, potato bake, salads, fruit etc. That is the sort of Christmas we love.

I got dressed up as a Christmas tree and won best dressed female at my work Christmas party (there's something more than 200 staff in this division of CBA). Big $25 prize!

Sorry I don't have a full length picture of it but my dress is simply gorgeous, take my word for it. It flares out at the bottom like a Christmas tree. What's more I bought it from the Red Cross store for only $10, then I decorated it with stuff from the office.

I am off to Florida on Monday to catch up with the Cowboy for 8 days, then home on the 16th for 4 days, then off to the Beach House to spend 3 weeks with my son and his dogs.

Christmas dinner will be traditional turkey, etc., sitting (hopefully, depending on weather) on the balcony. My nephew joins us and it is just a perfect way to spend Christmas Day.

MTR I had a Christmas similar to yours not many years ago, In the U.K Spent with my Mum who had bad dementia, did not know who I was, and my two sisters. Although not the best I have ever had, I am so glad I did it. It is still a great memory

Off to Singapore to spend Xmas with one of my besties from Uni and head back to hometown to visit my parents. Haven't seen dad and granddad for over a year now. Partner was not invited so I will miss him too during the holiday season. :p
