    Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.
    The whole point of crypto currencies is decentralisation, removing the need to trust a single entity.
    Here your physical gold cannot be decentralised - it is still physically stored in a vault somewhere - and you need to trust the operator of the vault.
    So kinda pointless IMO.
