Wyndham Council (Melbourne)

Has anyone dealt with Wyndham council ?
I was trying to find information on their website about building duplex, but couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know if they have any restrictions to building a duplex, with regards to land specifications eg. min. lot size etc.

Duplex developments are often discouraged by some of the mid to outer ring councils in Melbourne. Their main reasons being neighbourhood character, dominance of car storage( aka garage) on the streetscape, excessive hard stand due to number of crossovers and driveways and reduction in on street parking and landscaping opportunities due to this. The size of land, orientation and width at street frontage will get your duplex through Wyndham , Unfortunately as they are experiencing such growth, information on website is scant and to get it at info from a prelim phone meetings are more difficult than at other councils.
