Wrong title handed over

    There are now no title deeds. It is all electronic.

    Not in all states. Still running on paper here in WA. Hopefully soon though!

    If you still have paper titles then you stick it in the filing cabinet at home and just keep it safe. If you lose it then you can apply for a replacement one.

    New title deed can be collected from conveyancer/solicitor or I guess registered post but I'd prefer to collect.

    Thank you @Westminster, it is going to be hard to collect from WA when borders are locked.

    What about the Caveat?

    WA allows protective caveats and this is a legal service your solicitor can advise on.

    No paper title be issued, conveyancer said 1 week after apply at Landgate $27 fees and get electronic one !
