Would you rather travel to a new place or return to the same place for a holiday, if money isn’t an issue?

There is so much in the world to see, why return to the same place?
Having said that, a known place would achieve the purpose if I just wanted a long weekend to decompress and lounge around.
True holidays, not even to the same country.

Both. I go back to some places yearly and always to new places when I can.

I hear that Bezos and Musk are opening up new places to go if you've already been everywhere.

I see a benefit in both perspectives. Some of my best childhood memories are of holiday spots we went to every year, and on the flip side there are so many places I want to visit, the severe majority would be a single time visit.

Of all the travel I have done with my children in the last 20 years, all around the world, their absolute favourite is our yearly camping and water skiing trip to Wyangla Dam near Cowra in NSW. Completely off grid, no wifi, no electricity... they love it. Family holiday traditions are wonderful.

Depends on the purpose. If it's to "see and experience" then new places ... if it's to "recover and recharge" then embracing familiar
