    Its a no for me, had experience with this one and it will most certainly limit your market and effect sale price, I think already mentioned by others.

    Potentially yes, for the right price of course. Further, to the extent its not "priced in", bear in mind that over time power lines may be replaced with underground lines (which creates upside valuation potential). For example, I have a property on Hedges Ave, on the Gold Coast. There are plans (possibly before the 2018 Games) to put all lines underground (as this street will be on "display" internationally for the marathon events, triathlons etc).
