    @RJS
    Have you considered Liverpool.
I purchased a house in the area for $640k a few months ago. You should look for One walking distance to station and a nice home with that Budget with a bit of change left over.

Express to Central is 40 minutes.
Services are greatly improving as it' a government allocated growth area.

@Illusivedreams I did have a look at Liverpool, I feel it is similar to Wolli Creek?

I should be a BA. Haha

    OK Kirawee.

Booming at the Moment due to development.
    On train line.
    All. Amenities
    Westfield
    Bunnings
    Sporting fields
    Schools
    And it's still fairly Anglo.
    People are nice.

Having a look a house is still doable under 1 million.

@Illusivedreams Thanks again. I just checked the distance to UNSW and it is 1.45 and 1.29 minutes. :(

I think we are "kinda" zeroing in on Glenfield at the moment. Express train to the city( that is without the train strikes!o_O)

I shall post a forum for Glenfield. we are little stressed out with all this.

In the meantime, hopefully we get a few more suburbs to focus and research.

I agree on the lack of community feel. As for the migrants, these are the ones who drove up prices. Great news for owners.
