We just did ours in "Holding Hands" from The Pascol (Masters) range.
Our brick is slightly lighter than yours but from the same era. Not sure if I made the right decision but everyone has said it made the house look a lot more modern and fresh.
Ours were originally white but it stood out too much. I noticed when looking around the neighbourhood everyone had either white or cream- I didn't like either.
Holding Hamds is sort of like a light browny mocha sort of colour.

Yeah that light tanny browny colour seems to be on trend atm.
Being yellowish, the bricks would look good with a grey too eg grey pebble (a cool light grey).
I like warm neutral which has been around for a while. It actually blends the nearby brown and almost makes it look good. - or beige royale or grand piano or white duck. In other words, greige.

I have black windows... and a black house. It really does disappear and not draw the eye. I love them and can highly recommend them.

Same colour as your meter box and lintel.

Although, If there is any chance that you will may render in future, don't paint. Makes adherence problematic.

It's not really done in Vic as it looks cheap eventually (or sooner) and you have to keep up the painting!

    Might be different in NSW.
