Neil Armstrong, he is the 1st person to set his foot in moon.

But, do you know who was supposed to be the 1st person? Many don't know...

His name is Edwin C Aldarin...

He was the pilot for the Apollo mission. He was working for the American Airforce. Moreover he had experience of space walking, hence selected as the pilot. Neil Armstrong worked for the American Navy. He was selected for his courage as co-pilot.

When the Apollo mission landed on moon, they received a command from NASA, "pilot first". But Aldarin was hesitant, "what will happen", "will I get sucked in or will I burn out", etc. The hesitation was not for hours, but few seconds.

In the meantime, NASA sent the next command, "co-pilot next".

Within next second, Neil Armstrong put his foot on the moon & became part of world history. World history was changed in 1 second... Though Aldarin had the qualification and talent, because of hesitation, he is not recognized by many people.

The world remembers only person who comes first...

This is a good example of how people lose out because of hesitation & fear. Whenever you see the moon, remember this, a moment’s hesitation can stop us from our greatest victory.

We all have great potential in us, the only thing that stops us from achieving what we are supposed to achieve is our hesitation, fear and shyness.

Many people are shy to ask, shy to appreciate others, & if we fail to do the right things, we will most likely do the wrong things.

    Hence the message. Avoid hesitation.

Accept the challenges bravely and without fear and surely victory is yours to reap & enjoy.

The message I would get from that myth is don't believe everything posted in anonymous forums, especially by those with an agenda.

    1) That entire story is a gigantic crock of ****. The only thing missing is some advertisement for your business to top it off ('And that's why you should never hesitate - buy our off the plan *******es today!').

    2) A huge number of people, myself included, know that Buzz Aldrin (never seen him go by 'Edwin') was the second man to walk on the moon. To pretend he is some 'unknown' is absurd.

Agree - most people have never heard of "Ëdwin C Aldarin" but just about everyone knows Buzz Aldrin. Not sure if that is a typo on the name or something to make him more anonymous.

Investing in property is not anything like walking on the moon. Last time I hesitated, I saved myself from a decision that would have seen me bankrupted.

In property investing, sometimes hesitating is a good thing!

P.S. "Neil Armstrong was chosen to be the first person on the moon due to the basic structural design of a part of the Eagle."

In April, only three months before liftoff, it was announced that Neil Armstrong would be the first man to walk on the moon. The main reason NASA gave for the decision was that the Eagle’s hatch opened to one side – rather than up or down – and that side was towards the pilot, Aldrin. The bottom line was that when the hatch was opened, the commander, Armstrong, had a clear path to exit, while the pilot was pinned in the rather cramped space of the module. By a sheer happenstance, it made more sense for Armstrong to exit first."

Why Neil Armstrong Got to Be the First to Step on the Moon

So they knew 3 months before the landing that Armstrong would be first. The "hesitation myth" is not correct.

Yes. Worth running it through a background check before rehashing garbage.

Gentle chief, even if this nonsense was true being recognized every-where would be a pain in the arse. It says a lot about yourself if you think not being recognized makes you a loser or being second instead of first man to walk on the moon makes you a looser ! What other think matters little. It is what you think of yourself that counts. Perhaps you should hesitate before you post.

It’s ok to hesitate and ponder for a moment.
Most people who achieve very little hesitate for a lifetime.

I took a slightly different angle to it (not taking anything away from comments about the story). Sometimes you have to 'feel the fear and do it anyway'.

I hope your fact checking on USA properties is better than this.... seems as much thought went into that as posts as other posters dribble on here about USA properties.
Don’t hesitate and let facts get in the way of a good story though.

Oh yes, two very different things. DD requires action and decisions.
