Do you get the LIC CG deduction if you choose to participate in BSSP?

Yes, interesting that there has also been some love for AFI and a number of key people are involved in the running of both LICs.

With the forthcoming retirement of Ross Barker and the appointment of two new directors one could be forgiven for thinking there is some succession planning going on.

Hopefully they’ll be over 70 years of age.

Each or combined? It's the latter I believe.

When the documents arrive is the time to decide what to do - and only after they have been read.

Mirrabooka holds firm on tech amid value rotation

Technology will deliver for investors in 2021 despite forecasts for a strong rotation to value, says Mirrabooka Investments managing director Mark Freeman, who believes the outlook for the sector remains strong despite lofty valuations.

    ...

Looking to another crop of opportunities on the market and unprepared to sell down any current holdings, Mirrabooka hopes to raise an additional $40 million through a share purchase plan announced on Thursday.

Because it'll give me something to do with investing. There is little else to do in that regard.

And as I'll probably read the stuff in bed, it'll also assist in sending me to sleep.

Precious little else does these days.

    Sales, Acquisitions and New Additions.

More time on the guitar and creative assistance from additional dietary supplements will help make sense of it all:

Then again I’m all about taste and gluttony so the gourmet variety is preferred.

What’s this got to do with LICs, a lot actually, but I still haven’t figured it out yet:confused:.

I don't see how "value" can't work It's poor relative performance mau imply that everything else has become even more expensive, that is, it wasn't classified as value before (not cheap), and has performed better (increased in price more) than "value".

IE, the market is very overvalued.

It's a good question. Accept lower returns? Time the market?

That definitely seems to be the narrative at the moment: there is no other alternative.
