Yes, interesting that there has also been some love for AFI and a number of key people are involved in the running of both LICs.

 

I hope they got a room.

 

With the forthcoming retirement of Ross Barker and the appointment of two new directors one could be forgiven for thinking there is some succession planning going on.

 

Hopefully they’ll be over 70 years of age.

 

Each or combined? It's the latter I believe.

What’s this got to do with LICs, a lot actually, but I still haven’t figured it out yet.

 

I don't see how "value" can't work It's poor relative performance mau imply that everything else has become even more expensive, that is, it wasn't classified as value before (not cheap), and has performed better (increased in price more) than "value".

IE, the market is very overvalued.

 

Property's overvalued, stocks are overvalued, bonds are returning zip, deposits are returning zip, bitcoin has had a massive run...what's left???

 

It's a good question. Accept lower returns? Time the market?

 

That definitely seems to be the narrative at the moment: there is no other alternative.
