VIC why land size in donvale & temlestowe too large

    lands in Donvale & Templestowe Victoria are very large ( in ha). Why are they subdivided such large? Can it be further subdivided?

    Is it because they are on a mountain?

    More likely that in 30 years time they can build high-rise just like Hong Kong without amalgamating blocks. :rolleyes:

    They were originally sub-divided large as this was the market for many big houses on large turf in 70s and 80s. Many still can be sub-divided further on hills too. Further sub-divisions continue on (except the Warandyte / Eltham) sides as the council will keep approving these to maximise their infill agenda.
