Posted in the Newcastle thread, but given Belmont is not part of Newcastle thought I'd repost: What do you think is happening here? It does not seem to fit in with pricing in the area https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-nsw-belmont-123400530https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-nsw-belmont-123400530

I talked to a real estate the other day who told me he sold it 3 months ago- very sus. Is it cheap because of flooding? Being old? Asbestos? Can't help but be suspicious. It rents out for 330 p/w long term tenant.

I actually commented to my husband last night about how cheap houses were in that area (we are looking for our first IP). It sold for $325k in January. It doesn't seem too different from recent sale prices for 2 bedders? I feel for the tennants, 2 sales campaigns in 6 months. Sorry I'm no help!

What happened to the front door steps, assuming that is the entry on the front.

Where is the other thread ?

Did you try asking the agent what was wrong with it?
Maybe get a B&P inspection done if you're keen on buying it.
