No, I don't want to develop in Brissy, I don't have the contacts and I have lots on the go at the moment. There is only so much stress I can take at one time..

I think this appears to be the case. Now if you purchased in Holland Park you should have a skip in your step today:)

Because Brisbane is better than Sydney and Melbourne and development's been very very consistent.

    What does Matusk say.......
    apartments fallen back 15%

Upswing for houses and townhomes, wont be a Syd/Melb boom......not the same dynamics
    QLD still needs jobs

Anyone like to report who is on the ground

Same as before, only demand is greater. Inner/middle ring free standing homes are in high demand. Development sites especially splitters and 4 packs are in big demand. I had an offer not long ago for one of my splitter sites. 350k profit for it for the price they offered to pay. I only held that one 2.5 years. It does have subdivision approval. I said no thanks.

Don't believe the people who say all of Brisbane is slow. The demand for certain dwellings inner and middle ring is very strong.

I already have around 700k equity growth on 2.1mil of purchases in Brisbane in last 24 months.

This is second only to the Bitcoin among options known to me and I was never willing to take that ride anyways!

this is why Brisbane will never boom...only 180k population growth in 20 years...

I expect this is another reason why Matusk is not predicting a boom similar to what we saw in Syd and Melb

this shows the full picture, but if you look at Brisbane council area particularly, it is only 180k population growth over 20 years...

Last 20 years is not the same as the coming 20 years. This is the problem of using past as an indication of what will happen in the future.

Major major changes in society even in the last 10 years let alone 20 years.
