Absolutely is a short cut, also reduces risk greatly. . Its all I been doing really. :)Imho it doesn't take a genius to become rich if that's what they want to be,

Thank God because that means I am in with a chance :).

But I do believe it take time and hard/smart work to create wealth.

It also take time and hard/smart work to keep/maintain it

i check in here every day to learn from you all, and have a chuckle at the banter. like many of you have mentioned, i am not comfortable talking to most of my friends about property investing because no one i know seems to be into it. i'm quite new to this so i don't post very often, but feel so much better equipped to make my next move after the knowledge i have gained on this forum.

Agree, also takes literally thousands and thousands of sacrifices over the years. That's why 98% of the population don't get wealthy. It's not that most people don't want to, they just ain't willing to pay the price. Which of course is fine.

I may have misread it... I thought someone mentioned 'loose' friends. :p

I generally use the term "friends" loosely.

Great positive community and like minded people and not just property wise.
The amount of knowledge around this forum is really astounding. I think of the forum as a uni course. I can honestly say to myself that i learn something new every time i'm on the forum.

I like the fact that I don't get told you're talking about property stuff again

except unlike a uni course you actually learn stuff that you can apply in the real world. :)

And politics and religion are rarely discussed.

Although the driving and car ownership habits of some might consider some improvement, the musician's thread in another forum demonstrated the flair of this community.

And, one can only imagine the immediate uptake of ALL members should a @Simon Hampel 's Free IT Tech Support forum be added...
