My Premium membership makes it look like I know what I'm doing lol:).

I'm learning like a lot of people here so I think its worth the $9 a month. Its probably the best money I've ever spent.

I may ask some silly questions to the experience investors here, but there not silly questions if you don't know the answer.

    Here!
Even if I hadn't posted a thing or asked any questions, just by being here I've been able to keep up to date with the APRA changes faster than I would have by reading mainstream press. This alone has helped me a lot.

I think one of the great things about PC is the network and news travel super fast here (APRA, Banks' policies etc) and I learn to look at things from different angles. Thumbs up!

The more experienced forumites are more than happy for newbs to ask silly questions, and no question is silly.

What you will find though, which does **** them off is when they give their reply, based on experience, and the newb replies with; "yes, but..." and sort of disagrees....like they don't believe them.

This is when the experienced forumites will either get angry and attack, or simply ignore them.

Not everyone here is enamored with graphs and stats (I am one of these people) and from experience have seen how they can be fudged, too general and cherry-picked and so forth.

Just because the experienced forumites educate based on anecdotes and experience - minus the techno-babble - doesn't mean they don't know what they are talking about.

I think the experienced PChatters have big hearts generally.

I think everyone who is reading posts here is learning; a little, or a lot, whether about property, other bits and pieces or human nature.

    There's plenty to pick up.

I'll go out on a limb and suggest anyone getting angry or attacking (provoked or not) lacks experience and/or maturity.

I should have added that it would usually be from a few, and after a prolonged period of mind-numbing talking to brick walls.

There's always something to learn about property, no matter how experienced or inexperienced you are. Solutions to problems come from the most unlikely of sources, and that includes places like Property Chat :)

... Though I wouldn't call PropertyChat an unlikely source ;-)

Always learning - even though I don't post many posts - my investment in PC has been more than worthwhile.
