Unless something changes really quickly, Hawks are into the grand final. Freo somehow could not score and had some shocking passes.

Was freo with 9 points to grind out, very doable. Then handed it to Rioli twice :(

I still couldn't work out why ..... Who was the guy who couldn't catch the ball?

Then again Freo couldn't convert in last quarter .....

Rioli always does stuff all, how he got an AA nod over Lecras amazes me.

Rioli is a good player but he's overrated. He puts on pressure but so do all the other good small forwards in the game. Wingard>Rioli.

I'm expecting West Coast V Hawks in the Grand Final but I'll be going for North Melbourne.

Come on you can't complare rioli with lecras. That's like comparing a holden with a Lamborghini.

He'll show you next week why he got the AA nod ;)

I cannot see west coast beating hawthorn at the MCG.

I've lost all respect for fremantle. Those supporters are so feral. I thought Collingwood were bad!

Tell me about it! Umpiring was shocking. Up until half time it wasn't too bad but their was a 10 minute patch in the 3rd qtr i could have really shoved that whistle up his clacker. At the end the free kick count was 17 a piece.

Hawthorne had some luck with ump and freo missed Fyfe being an effective player for the whole game , but as DT said , freo stuffed up in the last quarter , gifted the Hawks a couple of goals when they were almost in striking distance .

Reminded me of the swans / freo game . Swans did enough to win but execution let them down .

Hawthorn are a class team , but for me it was more a matter of freo loosing .

Do they want to swap Fyfe for Jetta ?

But on a serious note Domain stadium needs more seats. Currently the capacity is only 43,500 when ideally it should be at least 55,000.

Hopefully the Kangaroos can pull off of an upset tonight. It should be a close game with West Coast obviously the favourites to win.

Instead of expanding it, they're building a new one which seats 60ish thousand. By time its finished it won't be big enough either, especially if they want to bid for finals.

I don't think / hope it'll be a close game. We (wce) are a division above norf.

Didn't see WCE beat Hawks but given the media reaction it must have been impressive .

Norths are good , but don't think they're that good . Expect a Weagles Hawks GF .

Hard to go past hawkes though they did struggle to put away a wounded freo .

Will be an interesting game , assuming norths don't carry off what would have to be a major upset .

Personally I hope the AFL do something to stop teams resting players leading into the finals .

While it's been considered the right of the top teams to do it , what north did seems to have given them an advantage over Richmond , though the swans were brought undone by injuries and I felt if they were going to go further , they needed all their players playing .

Go eagles . They deserve to be in the GF more than North .

No nerves here mate. We've been winning all year and had 2nd highest percentage with half a side. North, and then Hawthorn next week are least of our troubles :)
