I think fremantles biggest hurdle is tonight. Beat Hawthorn and they are a massive chance to win the flag. Hawthorn has always troubled them.

If they travel to Perth and beat Freo it'll be an upset. Freo is the home team. Hawks had to travel to WA in the first week and lost to West Coast. They travelled back and beat Adelaide (a team always just making up the numbers) and now they have to fly back across to WA. Freo is in the box seat after having 2 weeks of rest, no injury concerns, and a home game. If Freo lose this game tonight they choked and their whole season was just another waste.

Hawthorn are in much better form than Freo, they've got a much better lineup, less injuries (no injury concerns???? Lol) more experience, and just smacked Adelaide who were more than just making up the numbers.
Everyone likes to feel that there team is the underdog but most of the time they're wrong, like you in this case. WA teams have to fly to Melb every second week, so no hard feelings there with Hawks having to travel over here for what? The 4th time at most for the year?

Hope he does kick 11.4 , Hodge. :)

I really hope Freo win, that'd make me really happy. I don't like their chances at all, though.

Hawthorn are a quality outfit and they won't let the freo crowd be the difference in tonight's game. I do agree that the travel factor and having to play last week will play a huge part but all the pressure is on the Hawks. Cleary they are the best team in the comp and they will prove that tonight.

Looking at the odds and hawthorn are clear favourites. Fremantle will need to score close to 100 points to beat the Hawks tonight (even without Gunston) and they don't have the fire power to match it with them.

The question is which hawthorn team will turn up this week? It's been a yo-yo season.

This is on St Georges Tce in Perth for those who are familiar with it.

Where did Hawthorn finish in the regular season?. One good game against an under par Adelaide seems to override everything else. Fremantle have timed their run perfectly to peak at the right time. Freo will blow them away in the first quarter and then cruise on home.

You're probably right but who's going to kick their goals? They only won against sydney cause sydney kicked so many behinds.

The only chance Hawthorn have is to use this tactic. :)

Sydney was a heavily depleted outfit and Freo only just got across the line.

Think Freo have a bit too much class in the middle. Tipping Lachie Neale to have a massive game, remind everyone why he has had such a good year.

They don't have the tall timber, but 2 of the best small forwards in the game - they will have to kick 5 between them to win.

    West coast by lots

I also want a a all WA final, so see the city empty on the public holiday :D

What the hell is it with the fremantle crowd?? I didn't realise they're so feral and racist. Booing sam Mitchell cause he's white! What would Goodsey be thinking?!?

Can someone tell them it's only a game!!
