Dirty game by Colombia, masters of the dark arts. England is no longer as naive so it had little affect.

Two get games tonight, Belgium underdogs against Brazil but more than capable of an upset.
France vs Uruguay hard to call, contrasting styles.

Chances are that one of these games will go to penalties.
Shame it is on so late/early though, hard to watch many games live.

So, how did it go for 'best defense'? French beat them comfortably. You probably need to know something about football, mate, before making statements.

Belgium just smoked Brazil with odds of 3.70 I’ve won $550 off Belgium so far :) not to shabby told u kids Belgium has the superstar line up!! Belgium beat England with all there reserves on...they wanted to lose that game but won it and now face the harder draw still wiping the floor with teams like Brazil

Lol.no Cavani.1 goal from a set play and one gifted to them.i see your claim that France would be to fast for them was what made all the difference right??lol.you predicted the winner because it was just a guess .claiming that you know what you're talking about is another thing all together.stick to talking about property bud.

Football brings the emotions out .... see above

Cracking World Cup so far . Several surprises . With all the upsets it’s a brave person who can pick a winner , but If England gets past Sweden tonight and then they get past ..... Croatia probably ( Russia have been good but their miracle run must be nearing its end ...but we shall see I guess ) then maybe .... just maybe they can win it . Could it be an Eng v Belgium final? Then again ... could be France v Russia the way this tournament has been throwing up surprises !!!’

France v Belgium should have been the final. They have been the top 2 teams of the tournament so far. Shame one of them won't make it.

I predicted the winner based on what I saw in every game and no one gifted France anything. They were a better team that South Americans. Full stop.

Being born and bred in England and having spent my first 28 years living in the South East i have followed the Three Lions all my life.

Hate to say whilst I remember 66 (albeit as a 2 year old) I also recall the decades of European Championship and WC failures and we sorta get used to falling at the quarter finals hurdle.

Have to say 2018 could possibly be the year "Football eventually does come home".

We went to Russia with a young team and very little expectation and Thursday morning could be celebrating a Finals appearance and some days later possibly lifting Jules himself.

Don't want too appear to optimistic but have to say i am starting to get that warm and fuzzy feeling the same as i did when Bournemouth got promoted to the Premier League.

    Cheers

Sticking with my initial thoughts, France to win. Croatia an outside chance if Lovren doesn’t go full Lovren.
