Does this mean that Townsville is now the capital of the new State of North Qld?

    It was meant to be.
Not a Cowboys fan, but just felt they had this one, right to the death too.

Milford was awesome for the Broncs.

That game was brilliant! JT is a living legend. Someone put Ben Hunt on suicide watch. Tragic way to lose a game but such a climatic affair.

    JT is the next immortal.

That GF beats the 97 Knights Manly GF and the 89 Raiders Tigers GF in my opinion. Don't remember enough of earlier ones to compare.

    See ya's.

Great game. As a Brisbane supporter it hurts, but not as bad as it would if it were any other team beating us.

I never dreamed the Broncs would play in the big one this year, so it was all a bonus. But there was nothing between those two teams, such a shame it had to be decided in the golden point crap shoot. What's wrong with real extra time??

Great also to see the NRL GF surpassing the AFL GF in national TV ratings again. All the more amazing given no NSW involvement. And interesting to again see more Melburnians watching NRL than Sydneysiders watching AFL in the big one.

My tip from January was Nth Qld ....and I have now tipped 5 of the last 6 winners of the Grand Final. :)
Funny as I gave up gambling many years ago !!! Maybe I shouldve had two bob on them.
My tip for next year (unless I change my mind by January) is Brisbane.
The great coach will do the same as he did with my beloved Dragons and steer them to a Premiership in his second year as coach...Mliford and especially poor old Ben Hunt can only get better.
Dragons might steal a place in the 8 next year but without quality forwards cant go much further..
    Sharks are a good roughie..
