    Bah hum bug.

I bought just about as many presents as previous years - ie none. No complaints. (I don’t shop).

It's 7am on Christmas Day in Manchester.

I'm leaving my partners parents house to do a 5km run with 200 other people. So it's probably me

Quiet day thank goodness, watched my family slowly demolish prawns, oysters, trifle and lots of drinks, they are all sleepy and I think it will be an early night for everyone ;)

:DIn my household, the juicy conversations were had before xmas...so as to ensure no dramas at the xmas lunch table.

One of the new kids (goat) has decided that today she would learn how to get her head stuck in the fence wire.

Last count 9 times but there is still some time to make it into double digits.

I thought mother nature would as it's been raining flat out for the past week due to the low over the NT but barely any rain today so we put the boat in as planned and I caught 2 new species on the fly rod!

All sounding positive so far, perhaps more drinks into the night will fuel the fire or some blurry memories will come back to you in the morning

This has been the most relaxing Christmas me and the wife have had together, the secret..... Being on the opposite side of the country to parents and in-laws! :D Skype is a champion

I managed to cook some sausage rolls, glazed ham, potato gratin and fruit salad. Plus kicked ass in the present department for the wife! And I drank a lot of custard, why does it come in a milk carton if its not meant to be drunk?? o_O

Hehehehe. I think it was us :). We were "supposed" to only spend $20 per person, but hubby has never been one to play by the rules, so his sisters got whatever the heck he felt like buying (probably $50 or $60 each). The complained a little but they liked the gifts better than some crappy $20 throwaway junk.

    Me.

I disappeared late in the arvo scouting streets and properties, and became engaged with a seller.

The sequelae was being late, kids past bedtimes, fights in the car, and silence at home.

But given this all happened after 1930, I call it a win for the day overall

Not mentioning names but a family member left dye transfer from clothing on my natural fabric lounge. I was up to midnight soaking and sponging trying to save it....o_O
