Who is responsible for electricial cabling in the ceiling?

    In strata managed apartments, is owner or strata responsible for cabling change in the ceiling?

    The light switch is tripping circuit breaker and my electrician has concluded the fix will require a new cabling which runs through ceiling.

    I am in Sydney if that helps.

    If the cabling is for the use of your unit alone and after (on your side) of the electricity meter then it is your responsibility.
    Same sort of thing applies to water supply also
