Good grief. What's the point of that? I ordered them into low to high and see it sits between $490 and $510 but why not just put it up clearly.

If I was the owner, I'd be totally unimpressed.

@D.T. what do you think of this idea? I think it is stupid.

I'm not sure if its legal there? I dont think it would be here. Maybe the owner was pressuring them to rent it at a higher rate than the agent appraised it at and hiding it like that at least gets some people in the door? If the average is 500 and an owner wanted 550, I'd rather not have the listing than waste time on it.

There are a few of his listings with the same thing. So, clearly it seems to be his way of "getting them in". I find it highly annoying and would be very annoyed at him, but clearly he's talked the owners into giving it a try.

I forgot to look at your listing. OMG!!! That agent is really "selling the dream" isn't he?

The first photo really piques my interest (not in a good way). Dirty stove, close up of a grubby kitchen bench and filthy wall. The sideways photos... really?

And yes, that last photo... What the?

Rental properties in Queensland must be advertised with a clear fixed price, and advertising with a different background price is blatant bait advertising (quite illegal). Cheeky.
