Online and Mobile banking with CBA is fantastic. I may be biased as I also work there... :) But I've seen St. George App (maybe a year or two ago) and was shocked at how clunky it was. Citibank have a decent enough app (does everything I need it to) but CBA seem to have that finese.

Can't compare loan experiences unfortunately. ...yet :p

I'd have to vote NAB for their stupidity, My wife was rejected for a credit card that she never applied for. And she worked for NAB at the time.o_O

Anyone banked with Heritage? 4.08% variable with offset is very attractive.

Westpac hands down. Macquarie have flexibility but are pretty slow and incompetent at times.

Yes I used them for one of mine for over 10 years. Friendly staff, low to nill fees, online banking is pretty simple, nothing flash mind you, but effective. They're not huge on IP's though, and Servicing is heavily scrutinised. This could just be my experience, which is why I refinanced away from them to continue. But worth enquiring if you've got $$$ behind you.

From me experience, CBA are lightyears ahead in almost every area from online banking to in-branch experience.

Online transfers: I get money in my CBA account on the same day it is sent from any account in Australia. But when I do a BankSA to BankSA transferit doesnt show up for 1-2 days.. 3 if its from another bank to BankSA.

    So yeah CBA wins.
